Some sessions stay with you for all the right reasons — and this maternity session with Brittany Wiggins, owner of Brittany Wiggins Fitness, right here in Murray, Kentucky, was one of them.

Between running a business, raising a family, and all the responsibilities life holds, Brittany almost didn’t schedule these photos. Life felt too busy. Timing felt tight. And honestly? That’s exactly why sessions like these matter so much.
I’m endlessly glad we made it happen.
Watching their family interact during this season of life was incredibly special. There’s something powerful about documenting a family just before it grows. These aren’t just maternity photos — this is milestone photography at its core.
We captured gentle moments between Brittany and her daughter, quiet connection with her husband, and that unmistakable glow that only pregnancy brings.
We met at the Doran Arboretum in Murray, Kentucky, during golden hour — and the light did not disappoint. The soft sunlight filtering through the trees created the most flattering, warm, dreamy glow. It was peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect setting for such a meaningful session.
Doran Arboretum is one of my favorite local spots for:
- Maternity sessions
- Family milestone photography
- Natural, timeless portraits
It never disappoints.
Life will always be full.
Busy season comes and goes.
But these moments only happen once.
And they deserve to be remembered.
Maternity sessions mark:
- The end of one chapter
- The anticipation of another
- The beauty in the in-between
They’re not just about a baby bump — they’re about who you are as a family before everything changes. Brittany’s session was a perfect example of why maternity photography is one of the most powerful forms of milestone photography.
Brittany, thank you for trusting me with this chapter of your life. Watching your family together during this season — full of love, excitement, and quiet joy — was such an honor to capture. One day, these photos will mean even more than they do now.
And that’s the magic of saying yes to the moment.
